In 2021, Hamilton Robson was chosen as the AV design and delivery partner for a marquee project - the relocation of leading martech organisation Salesforce to a brand-new headquarters in Dublin’s Quayside. The project involved the design and delivery of AV solutions for three grade-A office buildings, covering over 413,000 sq ft of space. Through collaboration with the AV and IT consultants, as well as the end user to finalise an exciting design, we also had to manage procurement of a vast array of equipment within compressed lead times, ultimately delivering on this truly epic project within time and on budget.
The new offices encompassed over 413,000 sq ft of office space in total. Front and centre and at the beginning of the journey through the building is the reception space. For a company like Salesforce, it’s important that the AV makes a big impact here. A large-scale LED display with full event audio makes a multifunction space in reception.
Moving to the Auditorium we implemented full broadcast streaming, for local events and global linkups to ensure seamless communication across sites. Moving up through the space there are 170+ meeting rooms – from smaller call booths to huddle rooms to boardroom layouts, we designed and implemented a huge range of AV technology across the spaces. Floors 7, 8 and 9 are the client facing floors – full broadcast technology enabled slick meeting experiences.
The Global Operations Centre for monitoring global security incidents, proactive intelligence monitoring and incident response is also based in this location. In conjunction with these spaces Hamilton Robson also undertook the specialist suites, multifunction auditorium spaces, global event spaces, flexible dining areas, and shared multifunction event spaces. For ambience and noise control we implemented a building-wide sound masking solution with over 2000 ceiling mounted sound masking speakers installed throughout the campus.
The results were impressive. The feedback from our delighted customer was that: "We were amazed that on the very first day of business, with 4000 staff joining - the AV just worked."
Salesforce’s new offices provided a comfortable and future-proofed workplace that enabled the global workforce to collaborate more effectively. Hamilton Robson once again delivers innovative and effective AV solutions that exceed customer expectations, at scale. The next phase of the Dublin project is what’s known as the Heritage Building, a premium client facing destination – with exciting plans for an outdoor Winter Garden, Executive meeting rooms and spaces, and conference rooms. With phase two in progress, we are confident that we will delight our customer once again.
