Setting global office standards for Datadog

The Challenge

Datadog, a global monitoring company and  Leader in the 2022 Gartner® Magic Quadrant asked us to help them with design and development of their meeting rooms standards and implement across their offices globally, which to date, in the past 24 months has consisted of over 700+ meeting rooms, training rooms and event spaces. Due to Datadog’s aggressive hyper-growth model, we are challenged with very compressed turnaround times therefore working to a high standard and deploying quickly was a key requirement.

We knew that the key to success relied upon build efficiencies, and meticulous project planning to deliver the project within the timeframe, without compromising on design or build quality.

The Solution

We designed a technology stack to enable global communication with video call technology and hardware fit for a growing global company. Custom bracketry and racks were built offsite in our HQ, allowing for other construction to go ahead as planned. The project included innovative cable management solutions, effortless connectivity and global meeting room standards to give the offices an ultramodern ambience.

We created something special to streamline their phone pod occupancy notifications. Our custom programme senses motion in the booths and switches on an occupancy light, alerting others to the booth’s availability with either green or red. The concept incorporates office space analytics using state of the art technology.

The Impact

The team were able to set a high standard across their offices, giving them an imprint for all future spaces as they grow at a fast pace. We continue to work across Europe the US and beyond as Datadog’s global AV partner.

Our AV and software teams continue to work on setting standards across global meeting rooms and all-hands spaces and iterating across the tech stack to help them uncomplicate teamworking and focus on their growing business.
