Hamilton Robson and Big Motive were ecstatic to take the award in the App of the Year at the Digital DNA Awards last night! Hamilton Robson, leaders in AV, immersive technologies and Software development worked with Big Motive to deliver the augmented reality app to accompany the amazing ‘Our Place in Space’ experience, bringing Oliver Jeffers’ amazing illustrations of the universe to life! We worked as part of a wider consortium and the team were reunited at the event last night – including representatives from Nerve Centre, Taunt Studios, composer Die Hexen and Rory and Oliver Jeffers themselves.

Established in 2016 the Digital DNA Awards celebrate the success of Individuals, Projects, and Companies from right across the highly competitive NI Tech and Digital Sector. With 16 categories up for grabs, the Digital DNA Awards are now widely regarded as “the only awards that matter” by the NI Tech and Digital Community.

Head of Engineering Luke McNeice said of the awards “This is clear recognition for our software engineering team, and the hard work they put in – Digital DNA is a chance to celebrate that. We’re establishing a strong presence in the visitor and tourism app and interactive space, with a new product offering starting to take shape. Offering creative projects like this for the team is such an important part of our employer brand and we’re looking forward to the team growing in the next few months.”
