Internal Broadcasting AV Upgrade

The Challenge

Our customer, a medical technology leader, wanted a global broadcast facility where they could provide training and new product launches live from their Galway site location. As one of their trusted AV partners, we were tasked with designing and installing a robust solution to take their broadcast capability to new heights. Within the organisation, the customer runs a TV channel for internal communication around the world.

The Solution

We designed a full end to end solution, comprising of a broadcast video mix and streaming service to support this. This comprised of full digital audio system and studio broadcast lighting, state of the art partition sensors and control panels. We provided the facilities with Panasonic broadcast cameras and NewTek video mixer, providing video record and streaming. We ensured that the audio catered for all environments by providing a D&B audio solution with QSC taking care of full audio DSP and Yamaha QL mixers front of house. This resulted in deep, rich, and authentic sound for the users, complimenting the architectural design of the room.

The Impact

The system was designed to be user-friendly, so the teams on site could be self-sufficient when running training sessions and troubleshoot issues on-site or with 24 hour remote support. This empowered the teams worldwide to have much more control over the tech and AV that they use. This space had Shure MXA ceiling array to allow for full interactive Q&A sessions, as well as a Shure ULXD front-of-house radio mic system. The solution is a best-in-class approach to internal broadcast and allows global teams to collaborate and share high-quality experiences around the world with the touch of a button.
