Acuity needed a consistent AV experience for its new Cork office that aligned with the technology standards already established across its global locations.
The project also had a tight 1-week installation window, requiring careful planning and coordination between Hamilton Robson, Acuity’s US-based AV team and the wider project team.
With different spaces serving different purposes, the solution needed to provide a coherent user experience while using the right technology for each room.
Hamilton Robson designed and delivered a fully integrated AV solution, with the Q-SYS platform as the backbone across the office.
Six standard meeting rooms feature Q-SYS network cameras, Shure MXA920 ceiling microphones, Q-SYS networked loudspeakers and Microsoft Teams Rooms, with Q-SYS touch panels providing simple room control via the Q-SYS UCI.
The boardroom was designed as the key meeting space, with a 105-inch display configured for Microsoft Teams Front Row, dual stacked Q-SYS PTZ cameras and a Shure audio solution integrated through the Q-SYS platform.
The all-hands space uses a 105-inch display, Q-SYS networked pendant speakers, Shure microphones and digital signage to support larger group collaboration and presentations.
Different solutions were selected for each space based on its use, rather than applying the same configuration throughout the office. The AV system also integrates with Acuity’s lighting and spatial management systems, alongside Logitech room booking panels and digital signage.
To meet the one-week installation programme, components were pre-built, tested and staged at our warehouse before being brought to site. This reduced on-site installation time and allowed the systems to be commissioned efficiently.
