Our challenge was to upgrade global event spaces for seamless communication across campuses. The feature rich event spaces are exceptional in every global location, with flexible technology for any user to run a flawless broadcast.
The Challenge

Our customer challenged us to upgrade their multipurpose event spaces, to enable great communication between locations. As a brand at the forefront of innovation, the customer didn’t want to settle for your average VC tech. They wanted to be able to create uniform spaces and consistent inclusive experiences for all their employees, spanning multiple global sites. In order to have faultless, broadcast quality communication between campuses, they needed an AV infrastructure with immense flexibility.

We applied our unique design philosophy to take the customer’s global events to next level. We allowed them to leverage their network using a scalable, forward-looking blend of technology to deliver the highest production quality.

Our Solution

Deep relationships and accreditations with technology partners NewTek, BirdDog, D&B and QSC helped us select the most suitable tech stack for our design solution. We built a phased, tiered solution. We designed a setup where video and audio is transported in a new way, allowing global syncing and eliminating latency. By building and offsite commissioning the full booth setup and racks at our workshop, we reduced time on site for our team while still ensuring the customer’s high standards were met. We selected a custom control panel from Skaarhoj from the Megapanel range, with two user modes.

This tailored the system to be used by users with a broad scale of experience of video production. Any team member could run an event without being overwhelmed by the tech. Those with more experience had more advanced functionality at their disposal than they would expect from a system of this calibre. This was a monumental step towards delivering a global AV lab.

The Impact

The AV setup is flexible and multipurpose – global events, on-site meetings, external and internal, all delivered over IP video across a global network of locations, leveraging their global AV VLAN. Our customer significantly reduced operational costs, whilst spurring the creation of production broadcast quality events and content both for internal and external consumption. The technical expertise of our team was second to none.
