We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Kyle Davidson, a highly skilled Lead Architect, who will be joining the Hamilton Robson team as our new Engineering Lead in Belfast.

With an extensive background in the tech industry and a remarkable track record of delivering outstanding results, Kyle’s addition to our team promises exciting possibilities for Hamilton Robson.

Kyle’s pathway into the technology industry began in 2011 when he participated in Kainos’s AppCamp during his first year of university. Following AppCamp, Kyle developed an award-winning application focused on Autism awareness and support and went on to join Kainos full-time after graduating top of his class in Computing. Throughout his career in the tech sector, Kyle has been involved in diverse projects that have covered product, platform and service development and working with the public sector and the NHS in an app offering.

When asked about his proudest moment or project, Kyle highlights his role as the Lead Architect for Street Manager – a ground-breaking digital service developed in collaboration with the Department for Transport that facilitates all street and roadworks across England. Kyle explains that “it’s release was really triumphant, and we successfully managed to onboard 500+ organisations and 9000+ users, even amidst the pandemic.” Today, Street Manager facilitates over 7 million transactions per year, a great testament to Kyle’s leadership abilities.

Reflecting on the best advice he has received in his career; Kyle emphasises the importance of stepping outside your comfort zone to foster personal growth. Over time, his initial role has evolved into a multi-faceted position encompassing aspects such as business development, recruitment, pre-sales, architecture, product management, and design. Kyle shares, “A decade ago, the idea of juggling all these responsibilities would have seemed overwhelming, but I gradually embraced each challenge and acquired new skills along the way.”

Finally, when asked about his aspirations in his new role at Hamilton Robson, Kyle expresses his excitement about making a positive impact. “I think more than anything I’m excited about how I can make an impact, I want to foster a culture of innovation, drive the development of new and disruptive technologies, and ultimately help lead our team of talented engineers to new heights.”

With Kyle’s arrival, Hamilton Robson is eager to reach new levels of excellence in engineering and technological innovation. You can also find Kyle speaking in more detail about cultivating a culture of innovation at the Digital DNA Conference on June 7th where he will be on the Main Stage covering ‘Disruptive Tech Today’.
