Hamilton Robson has been shortlisted in three prestigious categories at the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT UK IT Awards 2025. The UK IT Industry Awards are designed to celebrate and promote the organisations, teams, projects, technologies and individuals who continue to help shape the future of IT.
The company’s achievements span across individual and team success, with nominations including:
Rising Star of the Year – Jake Young
Apprentice of the Year – Tiarnan Crosbie
Mobile Innovation of the Year – Story Engine
Jake Young, one of the founding members of Hamilton Robson’s software team, has played a pivotal role in shaping its growth and impact. Meanwhile, apprentice Tiarnan Crosbie, the most recent addition to the team, has already made his mark, representing the company on work missions to Boston and Paris.
The Story Engine product is shortlisted for Mobile Innovation of the Year, highlights Hamilton Robson’s ability to combine technology and creativity, creating new ways to engage communities and tell stories. Find out about the product here.
Luke McNeice, Head of Software Engineering at Hamilton Robson, said: “It’s fantastic to see our team’s talent and innovation recognised at this level. Jake and Tiarnan represent the very best of what we’re building here, and Story Engine is proof of how far we’ve come as a team.”
This year’s nominations build on Hamilton Robson’s strong track record at the UK IT Awards. In 2023, the company won Accessible Technology of the Year, while Senior Software Engineer Chloe McAree was named Engineer of the Year.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London this November, where Hamilton Robson will celebrate alongside leading organisations and individuals driving progress in the IT industry.
